  • Page 55 Slide the keyboard/top cover (2) forward and separate it from the display assembly. If it is necessary to replace the display panel assembly: Use a case utility tool or similar plastic, flat-edged tool to separate the bottom edge (1) of the display panel assembly from the display back cover.
  • Page 56 Swing the top edge (3) of the display panel assembly up and forward until the display panel assembly rests upside down in front of the display back cover. Release the adhesive support strip (1) that secures the display panel cable connector to the display panel.

    Using HP PC Hardware Diagnostics (UEFI) HP PC Hardware Diagnostics is a Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI) that allows you to run diagnostic tests to determine whether the computer hardware is functioning properly. The tool runs outside the operating system so that it can isolate hardware failures from issues that are caused by the operating system or other software components.
