Before using the Active Balance System, please note the following: Strength select Types HD7622, HD7624, HD7626, HD7634 only. Select the coffee strength you prefer (Fig. 5). Turn the knob to the right to increase the strength of the coffee and turn it to the left to decrease the strength of the coffee. -
Page 3: Switching The Appliance On Or Off
- Types HD7624, HD7626: If you have not switched the appliance off, the appliance will automatically switch itself off after two hours (Auto Switch- off). - Type HD7634 only: After brewing coffee the appliance will switch itself off automatically (Auto Switch-off). Remove the paper filter and throw it away (Fig. 11-12). -

Replacement Cord If the mains cord is damaged, it must be replaced by Philips, a service centre authorised by Philips or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
