Disconnect GoGear Ariaz safely To avoid data loss, disconnect GoGear Ariaz from your computer as follows: On your computer, exit all applications that are working with GoGear Ariaz.
4 Use GoGear Ariaz to carry files GoGear Ariaz allows you to carry files in Windows Explorer. With GoGear Ariaz connected to the USB port of the computer, open Windows Explorer. Create folders in GoGear Ariaz. Use drag and drop actions to sort your files into the folders.
5 Windows Media Player 11 (WMP11) Install Windows Media Player 11 (WMP11) Insert the supplied CD into the CD-ROM drive of your computer. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation of WMP11. Transfer music and picture files to WMP11 library By default, WMP11 automatically loads all the music and picture files that are stored in your computer.
Switch between music and pictures library in WMP and GoGear Ariaz Click the arrow on the top left of WMP11,then select the category. Rip songs from a CD You can transfer music from a CD to GoGear Ariaz. The transfer requires that you create a digital copy of the music on your computer first.
By default, WMP11 starts to rip all the songs from the CD. » To modify this option, click the down arrow beneath the Rip tab and select Rip CD Automatically When Inserted > Never. Click on the check boxes to select the songs that you want to rip.

Delete recordings Use a computer to delete recordings from GoGear Ariaz: Connect GoGear Ariaz to the computer (for instructions see section Connect). On the computer, in Windows® Explorer select GoGear Ariaz. Select Recordings > Voice or FM radio. Select the recordings you want to delete. On the computer, press Delete.

Press and hold the volume button while you connect GoGear Ariaz to your computer. Keep holding the key until the Philips Device Manager acknowledges GoGear Ariaz and enters the recovery mode.
