Make sure the + and - poles of the battery point in the right direction. Note: The appliance runs on one R6 AA 1.5-volt battery (included). Preferably use Philips alkaline batteries. A new AA alkaline battery has an operating time of up to 2 hours.

ENGLISH Turn the battery compartment cover anticlockwise until the setting indicator ( % ) points to the ‘off’ indication (0). To avoid damage due to battery leakage: do not expose the appliance to direct sunlight. do not expose the appliance to temperatures higher than 35°C.

ENGLISH If any irritation or allergic reaction occurs, discontinue use immediately. Do no use the appliance on sensitive or irritated skin. Trimming with the precision trimming head With the precision trimming head without precision trimming comb, you can trim hairs to a length of 1mm, the so-called ‘stubble look’.

ENGLISH Put the precision trimming head on the appliance (see section ‘Attaching and detaching the attachments’ in chapter ‘Preparing for use’). Put the precision trimming comb on the precision trimming head and push it until it locks into place (‘click’). Switch on the appliance.

ENGLISH Regularly remove cut hairs from the comb. If a lot of hairs have accumulated in the comb, detach the comb from the appliance and blow and/or shake the hairs out of it. To switch off the appliance, turn the battery compartment to the ‘off’...

Do not insert the nose/ear/eyebrow trimming head more than 0.5cm into your nostrils.

ENGLISH Trimming eyebrows with the eyebrow combs Comb your eyebrows in the direction of hair growth. Choose the short or long comb, depending on the desired hair length. The millimetre indications are on the combs. short comb: 3mm/0.12in long comb: 5mm/0.2in Tip: We advise you to start trimming with the long comb.

ENGLISH Rinse the cutting element of the nose/ear/ eyebrow trimming head with hot water. Switch on the appliance and rinse the cutting element once more to remove any remaining hairs. Then switch off the appliance again. Note: You can also use the cleaning brush to clean the nose/ear/eyebrow trimming head.

ENGLISH Ordering accessories If the combs are damaged or worn, always replace them with original Philips combs.
