The bootable diagnostic programs enable you to test computer memory and internal storage devices, view system information, and check and recover the internal storage devices.

If no master hard disk password is available, neither Lenovo nor Lenovo authorized service technicians provide any services to reset either the user or the master hard disk password, or to recover data from the hard disk drive. The hard disk drive can be replaced for a scheduled fee.
  • Page 37 To put the system back to operational status, the only Lenovo and Lenovo-authorized service solution would be to replace the hard disk drive or solid-state drive with a scheduled fee.
