    Installing Optional Accessories You can make the printer more functional by installing the optional accessories. Right-click the printer icon of the Dell 2150cn Color Printer and select Properties. Click the Options tab, and then select Get Information from Printer.
  • Page 49 4 Pull the standard 250-sheet tray out of the printer about 200 mm. Hold the standard 250-sheet tray with both hands, and remove it from the printer. 5 Lift the printer and align the five guide pins of the optional 250-sheet feeder with the holes at the bottom of the printer.
  • Page 50 7 Insert the standard 250-sheet tray into the printer, and push until it stops. 8 Re-connect all cables into the back of the printer, and turn on the printer. NOTE: The printer will automatically detect the attached tray but will not detect the paper type.

    Connecting Printer to Computer or Network Direct Connection A local printer is a printer which is directly connected to your computer using the USB cable. If your printer is connected to a network instead of your computer, skip this section and go to "Network Connection."...
