Step Action Attach the SAS adapter supplied with the HP workstation SAS hard drive to the data connector on the rear of the SAS hard drive. In preparation for cable connection, identify the 8-port controller card connectors. The LED cable connector (1), the internal data connector (2), and the external data connector (3) are shown in the following figure.
