This document describes how to install a diskette drive.
Kit Contents
This product is shipped with the necessary supplies for installing a diskette drive in various workstation
models, so you might not use all of the cables, bezels, or screws.
■ Diskette drive
■ Cables
❏ HP Workstation xw8200 and HP Workstation xw6200—round cable
❏ HP Workstation xw4200 and HP Workstation xw4100—flat cable
■ Three bezels (one for each workstation)
❏ HP Workstation xw8200—5.25-inch bezel
❏ HP Workstation xw6200—3.5-inch bezel (thinner than the xw4200 and xw4100)
❏ HP Workstation xw4200 and HP Workstation xw4100—3.5-inch bezel (thicker than the xw6200)
■ Screws (xw8200, xw4200, and xw4100 only)
■ Bracket (xw8200 only)

Installing a Diskette Drive

1. Disconnect power from the system, remove the access panel, the front bezel, the necessary bezel
blank, and the EMI filler blank, if applicable.
