  • Page 4 Reading Techniques The view finder projects an aim- ing dot that should be centered over the bar code, but it can be positioned in any direction for a good read. Hold the scanner over the bar code, pull the trigger, and center the aiming dot on the bar code.
  • Page 5 Start Link Press scanner trigger once to power on scanner, after it’s ready, scan the MAC barcode in bottom label of Base/Dongle. You’ll hear two beeps after they linked. Unlink/Replace the Scanner If the Base/Dongle has a scanner linked to it, that scanner must be unlinked before a new scanner can be linked.
